Sophia Mullins is the founder of Wall Street Wellness and a trained wellness expert and facilitator. Sophia offers corporate programming that helps fast-paced companies realistically improve employee wellness for enhanced performance and reduced burnout.
With nearly a decade of experience on Wall Street working across investment banking, private equity, hedge funds and venture capital, Sophia knows firsthand how difficult it can be to juggle personal well-being with performance.
It was early on in her Wall Street career when Sophia was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid. Working with a functional doctor, Sophia began to follow a holistic health plan focusing on lifestyle changes—like eating an anti-inflammatory diet and managing stress—and was shocked when her laundry list of health symptoms vanished over the course of months. This experience introduced Sophia to functional and lifestyle medicine and the vital role that habits play in overall health, especially for high performers in demanding career settings.
While ascending in her finance career, Sophia operated a wellness community centered around realistic well-being for career-minded professionals. The community grew so large that the requests for events and programming made it clear that it was time to go full-time into wellness. Sophia has led workshops and programming for the likes of Equinox, Ohio State University, Miami’s Mayor Francis Suarez, and multiple industry gatherings of health-minded finance professionals.

Sophia was named the Most Outstanding Graduate of Fisher College of Business upon her graduation from Ohio State University. After OSU, Sophia returned to Barclays Capital to work in their investment banking division full-time. After Barclays, Sophia joined a private equity fund, and has also worked at venture capital and hedge funds for seven years. She currently lives in Miami with her husband.
